Fire Permits

*NOTE: Setting off fireworks and sky lanterns is prohibited in Kearney and is not allowed. See By-Law 2018-24 for more information.

The Town of Kearney requires that property owners obtain a fire permit before proceeding with any outdoor fires.

Daytime burning is strictly prohibited, and only allowed by issuance of a license from the Fire Chief.   

Short-term permits can be obtained at the following locations:

Full-season permits can be obtained at the Kearney Fire Hall. Please call ahead to ensure they are on site (705) 636-7402.
